The pier in Sopot is the main attraction and showpiece of the resort. It is difficult to imagine visiting Sopot without walking on the most characteristic structure of the city - the longest wooden pier in Europe. From here you will be able to enjoy a beautiful view of moored yachts and the city of Sopot. In the summer season it is a popular place for strolls, and at the same time a haven for tourist passenger shipping and water cabs. On both sides of the pier stretches the beach - one of the favorite spots for families with children.

The most famous and representative part of Gdansk is, of course, the Main Town. If you find yourself in Gdansk, this is where you should start your sightseeing. Its unique atmosphere and huge number of monuments make it a unique tourist attraction. At the junction of Dluga Street and Dlugi Targ Street you will find one of the most characteristic buildings - the Main Town Hall. Walking further along Długa Street from behind the famous Neptune's Fountain you will see Artus Court. While visiting the Main Town, you also can't miss one of the symbols of Gdansk dating back to the 14th St. Mary's Basilica - the building is the largest brick church in the world. While strolling along Gdansk's Long Embankment, you will see yet another famous Crane Gate. One of the most beautiful streets in Gdansk - St. Mary's Street - should also be an obligatory point of your walking tour. It is a magnificent example of original old buildings. A walk along it gives you the opportunity to admire the monuments and visit charming restaurants, cafes and stores. In this place you can feel the real atmosphere of Gdansk.

When visiting Gdansk, it would be a sin not to visit Old Oliwa and one of the most charming corners of the city - Adam Mickiewicz Oliwa Park, which was created in the 18th century on the site of the former gardens of the Cistercian monks' monastery. Here you can meet specimens of plants brought from almost all over the world. It is worth going to the newly opened Palm House. Among the most beautiful buildings of old Oliwa is the Oliwa Cathedral - a three-nave vaulted basilica. While strolling through Oliwa Park you can also visit the Abbots' Palace and the Ethnographic Museum. For families with children we recommend a walk in the nearby ZOO. While in the area, it's also worth climbing Pacholek for a panoramic view of the city. The free observation tower offers a picturesque view of beautiful Gdansk.

The building of the Marine Station used to be crowded with emigrants. From here the legendary Polish transatlantic ships "Pilsudski" and "Batory" set sail. Today you can visit the Emigration Museum here - the first museum in the country dedicated to the history of emigration and the history of Poles around the world. Interestingly, the museum is one of the few institutions that tells about the past in a place that is actually connected to historical events. It is located in the modernist building of the Marine Station. Inside you will see an exhibition that tells the history of emigration from the 19th century to the present day - after Poland joined the European Union. On the multimedia globe you will see what the presence of our compatriots in the world looks like. Without leaving the building you will be able to take a sea voyage to New York and Chicago.

Gdynia Orlowo is located in an extremely picturesque part of the city. It is a district rich in tourist attractions and beautiful landscapes, quite unlike big-city landscapes. There is a seaside promenade, located above the level of the beach, which leads, among other things, to the fishing harbor and to the magnificent wooden pier, originally intended for military purposes, today - dedicated exclusively to strollers. Overlooking the strollers is the beautiful, majestic Orlowski Cliff. It is definitely the most romantic of all places in the Tri-City, ideal for a date and a walk along the cliff, from where you can admire the seaside panorama and amazing sunsets. In the summer there is also the only stationary theater stage on the beach , where you will have the pleasure of watching City Theater performances. While in the area, it is worth climbing the nearby Kolibki observation tower, which offers a beautiful view of Gdynia, or go to the Adventure Park, where you can try your hand at adrenaline sports.

Gdynia is different from the old Pomeranian cities. It's numerous nautical references: round windows, referring to ships' portholes, sharp building blocks, resembling ships' hulls, superstructures, whose prototype was a captain's bridge, or external stairs like ship's gangways...There are few such large, compact ensembles of modernist architecture in Europe as in Gdynia.The city, built as a Polish dream, a "window to the world", as part of an ambitious economic plan, was at the same time a field for young Polish architects, urban planners, decorators and interior designers. Gdynia's modernist Downtown was formed in the very short period of the decade of the 1930s, which further strengthened the symbolic message of "white architecture" and "sunny city."
